The Zubimuxu hostel is located in the centre of town and on the banks of the Urumea River.
The town is in a rural setting, far from major highways and surrounded by mountains and green peaks, native forests and farmhouses with their traditional cattle.
The most notable Goizueta buildings today are from the 16th-17th centuries. They are the legacy of the economic development that the forges of the time gave to the town.
On the peaks of Goizueta, there are ancient remains (Cromlechs, tombs) that show that humans were living here around 5,000 years ago. Two megalithic routes are especially attractive, due to the abundance of cromlechs. You can find them scattered on hills with wide visibility and hills on routes of great importance for livestock and trade.
The Urumea River invites you to bathe in it in the summer within its different pools and to spend time on its natural shore, observing the running water and aquatic life.
The Artikutza forest reserve offers a natural and historical environment to immerse yourself in forests and green valleys, visiting what is left of the great constructions of our ancestors, with the constant accompaniment of the sound of babbling streams and birdsong.
